JERUSALEM (VINnews) — On Tuesday evening, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum released an AI-generated video in which Master Sergeant Ran Gvili, of blessed memory, the last hostage remaining in Gaza, addresses U.S. President Donald Trump “in his own voice,” asking him to bring him home from the tunnels in Gaza.

His family approved the release of the video:
“My name is Rani Gvili, son of Talik and Itzik. On October 7, even though I was wounded and waiting for orthopedic surgery on my shoulder, I left my home without hesitation to save my people. I stood almost alone against dozens of terrorists in Alumim. I managed to eliminate many of them, but in the end I was abducted. I am the last hostage still being held in Gaza.
“Thank you for standing by us, and thank you for the courageous deal that brought so many of my brothers and sisters home. Mr. President, I ask you to complete the mission: please bring me home. My family deserves this, and I deserve the right to be buried with dignity in the land for which I fought. Mr. President, finish what you started.”

Talik Gvili, Rani’s mother, responded to the release of the video:
“To see and hear Rani speaking in his own voice is both deeply moving and heartbreaking. I would give anything to hear him, see him, and hug him again. But all that remains for me is to beg that they not move on to Phase B of the agreement before they bring Rani home, because we do not leave heroes behind.”
