JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office on Wednesday accused Hamas of continuing to violate the Gaza ceasefire and President Trump’s 20-point peace plan, citing the group’s refusal to disarm and a recent explosive device detonation that injured an Israeli officer.

In a statement issued in English, the Prime Minister’s Office said Hamas’ “ongoing public refusal to disarm is a blatant ongoing violation,” adding that the detonation of an improvised explosive device in southern Gaza’s Rafah area further confirmed the group’s “violent intentions.”
An Israeli officer was lightly wounded when his armored vehicle ran over the device, according to reports.
“Hamas must be held to the agreement they signed, which includes removal from power, disarmament, and de-radicalization,” the statement read. “Israel will respond accordingly.”
The accusation comes amid stalled progress on the second phase of the U.S.-brokered ceasefire, which calls for Hamas’ demilitarization and the deployment of an international force in Gaza.
Israeli officials have repeatedly claimed Hamas is rearming rather than disarming, while the terrorist group has resisted full demilitarization demands.
Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with President Trump in the coming days to discuss next steps in the fragile truce.

More tough speeches, then soft actions and refusal to deliver a finishing blow to the almost won projects.
It’s if Netanyahu is trying to bamboozle us, over and over again.
Bibi is obviously not a right winger, and he is not working for us.
