The Hezbollah operative reportedly told Hemo: “70% of Hezbollah operatives work w/ Israel. Israel knows the name of every one of our children, their father, their sister. Israel knows more about us than we know about ourselves.”
The comments highlight the perceived vulnerabilities within Hezbollah amid ongoing tensions and Israeli military operations targeting the Iran-backed group in Lebanon.
Ohad Hemo, Channel 12’s Arab affairs correspondent known for his in-depth reporting from sensitive areas, conducted the interview, which underscores Israel’s reputed intelligence capabilities in monitoring adversary groups.
Hezbollah, designated as a terrorist organization by Israel, the United States and several other countries, has exchanged near-daily fire with Israeli forces along the northern border since October 2023, in solidarity with Hamas during the Gaza war.
Israeli officials have repeatedly emphasized efforts to degrade Hezbollah’s military infrastructure to ensure security for northern Israeli communities.
The interview provides a rare glimpse into internal frustrations within the group, as Israel continues targeted strikes against its leadership and arsenal.

I sincerely doubt that Israel knows as much as he says.
