TEL YOSEF, Israel — The father of 19-year-old Aviv Maor, who was killed in a terror attack in northern Israel, shared a searing farewell Sunday, describing unbearable grief and a family shattered by sudden violence.

In a post on social media, Tal Maor wrote of emotional collapse and profound loss after his daughter was murdered at the Tel Yosef intersection. He described his pain as a “bottomless abyss,” recounting a desperate rush to reach her and the devastating moment he realized he had arrived too late.
“The pain and the reality are unfathomable,” he wrote. “We miss you and promise to be strong to protect the family that loved you so much. My sweet girl — I would give my life for you to come back.”
Maor said his daughter was killed just steps from their home. He described finding her lying in blood, still beautiful, still his child. “My Aviv, my flower — they murdered you beneath our home,” he wrote. “Our beautiful angel.”
He ended his message with a plea, asking his daughter to send signs that she is watching over the family from above.
The Maor family later released a statement mourning Aviv as a compassionate and radiant young woman, devoted to helping others, especially children and injured animals. Horses and dogs were central to her life, the family said, and she was known for fiercely protecting her siblings.
“A terrorist took our girl,” the family said. “He murdered her.”
The attack was part of a deadly terror incident in northern Israel that has left the community in mourning.

However, a generic “terrorist took our girl” doesn’t cut it. The father should have said “an islamonazi hater of everything that’s good and wholesome, an Islamic death cult, took our girl”.
