SURFSIDE, Fla. (VINnews) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was welcomed Wednesday afternoon into the Bal Harbour Shul under heavy security, with nearly 2,000 people in attendance at the time of his arrival.

As Netanyahu entered the synagogue, chants of “Yamim al yemei melech” were heard from the crowd.
Among those present were Leo Terrell, Rep. Randy Fine, and Steven Meiner, Senator Ashley Moody, Florida Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins, and former Bal Harbour Mayor Gabe Groisman, along with numerous other high-profile political, civic and community leaders.
Authorities said the extensive security measures reflect the size of the crowd and the high-profile nature of the visit.
