Rabbi Daniel Travis was in the middle of filming a class Sunday when a scuffle erupted just steps away. He immediately turned toward those involved and firmly ordered them to stop. The confrontation ended almost instantly.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the dispute, and it remains unknown whether the incident was spontaneous or if Travis was using the moment to illustrate a point for his lesson.
After calm was restored, Travis returned to his teaching, saying the moment underscored a key message: while anger should usually be restrained, controlled firmness can sometimes be necessary to prevent harm.
Travis serves as rosh kollel at Kollel Toras Chaim in Jerusalem and is the author of more than 20 books in English and Hebrew, including the popular “Praying With Joy” series.
No injuries were reported.
Rabbi Daniel Yaakov Travis’ newest release, “Yedidya 2,” is now available for pre-purchase. This sequel continues the gripping novel-based Torah series built around the powerful theme of “Thanking Hashem When Things Look Bad.”
