JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Tucker Carlson accused U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee of placing Israeli interests ahead of American ones during a tense interview filmed at Ben-Gurion Airport and released Friday.

The wide-ranging conversation, recorded inside the airport’s diplomatic terminal, lasted more than two hours and was preceded by an extended monologue from Carlson criticizing U.S. support for Israel. During the exchange, Carlson pressed Huckabee on civilian casualties in Gaza, U.S. policy toward Iran and the case of convicted spy Jonathan Pollard. At several points, Carlson suggested the ambassador’s views aligned too closely with the Israeli government.

Huckabee forcefully rejected the claim, pointing to his American flag lapel pin and emphasizing that he represents U.S. interests. He defended the U.S.-Israel relationship as rooted in shared democratic values and longstanding strategic cooperation.
Carlson also argued that Israel is an unusually violent society, citing widespread military service among its citizens. Crime statistics from international monitoring groups, however, show Israel’s homicide rate remains lower than that of many countries in Latin America and parts of Africa.
The interview followed a public dispute between the two men and underscored broader divisions within conservative political circles over the scope and direction of U.S. support for Israel amid ongoing fighting in Gaza and regional tensions involving Iran.
Neither the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem nor Israeli officials immediately commented on Carlson’s broader criticisms following the release of the interview.

Yes Tucker you certainly come off and are a complete jerk. First off Mr. Jonathan Pollard was indited for spying with no intent to harm the United States and was then convicted on the same charge. Had he not been a Jew he might have served maybe five years, he wound up serving 30 years.
