JERUSALEM (VINnews) — U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee sat down this week with Rabbi Efram Goldberg of a Boca Raton synagogue while the rabbi was visiting Israel, speaking candidly about Israel, antisemitism, and his controversial interview with commentator Tucker Carlson.

Huckabee said he had known Carlson for many years but described him now as “not the same man I knew then,” calling some of his recent statements “insane.” He criticized Carlson for spreading false narratives about Israel, emphasizing the responsibility of public figures to avoid amplifying misinformation—even among political allies.
The discussion, informal and off-the-record in format, also touched on evangelical support for Israel, shifting political alliances, and the importance of moral clarity when leaders’ words carry weight in public discourse. Huckabee stressed the need for honesty and integrity in defending Israel and countering antisemitism.

oy vey, sunnytliston, i don’t know where your narishkeit comes from. Rabbi Goldberg is a distinguished Rav of an orthodox community.
Daven for Michael Dale ben Dorsey Wiles -Huckabee in your prayers. He qualifies as tzadik “b’doroisov” amongst the nations.
I saw the clip and hoped the rabbi was a nobody. So sad to see theses words coming out of the mouth of a mainstream “ rabbi”. Disappointing.
