NEW YORK (VINnews) — An Israeli activist organization, DiploAct, brought a billboard truck to Gracie Mansion on Wednesday to protest what it described as Mayor Mamdani’s role in allowing New York to become “a hotbed for jihadists and extremist propaganda”.

In a social media post, the group said, “While the West fights Iranian-backed terror, his New York hosts chants of ‘Death to America,’ vigils for Khamenei, and activists who praise Hamas.” The trucks also referenced a recently discovered social media post in which the mayor’s wife allegedly “liked” content celebrating Hamas atrocities on October 7.
DiploAct said the protest was meant to call attention to what it views as the mayor and city officials ignoring extremist activity in the city.
City Hall did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
