Speaking with conservative commentator Benny Johnson, Vance said Omar “definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States of America” and suggested administration officials were examining possible legal remedies and investigative steps.
He said he had discussed the matter with Miller to consider “what legal remedies” might be available and how such a case could be pursued.
“What are the legal remedies now that we know she’s committed immigration fraud?” Vance said during the interview, according to the discussion.
There was no immediate response from Omar’s office. No charges or public findings of immigration fraud against her have been announced by federal authorities.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

vance seems to be living down to the cliche of the less-than-useful veep. spreading stories like this serves no useful purpose – in the immortal words of tuco: “when you have to shoot, shoot, don’t talk.”
I heard that Omar got into this country on a visitors visa but was working, which violated the visa terms.
VIN Still posts articles from the Liberal shill Joseph Feldman. You can never trust a word this guy writes.
In this article he throws in the line “though he provided no evidence or details of any formal investigation.”
The line makes no sense on its face. JD Vance only said he was discussing legal options. He never claimed there was an official investigation underway. Even if he did, what evidence exactly was he expected to provide? This was an interview, not a court case. As it is, Ilhan Omar doesn’t even deny that she had a sham marriage to her brother to get around US immigration laws. That would be fraud right there.
So why did this bufoon write that line? Because he wants to create the impression that everything this administration says is untrustworthy and unsubstantiated. It’s just a way to subtly shape public opinion againt Trump, even if it means writing dishonest “news” articles.
As usual, liberal shills like this are what they accuse others of being. While trying to paint the Trump admin of being dishonest, he himself is being dishonest.
It’s disgusting that VIN still gives this guy a platform.
I hope that they nab her, but I sincerely doubt it.
