Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar, identified as a leader of Iran’s Jewish community, visited the site and said the strike hit a residential area that included a synagogue.

“In a residential area inhabited by normal people, and includes a synagogue, they caused the destruction of an old synagogue,” he said, according to remarks carried by Iranian media.

Homayoun Sameh, a Jewish representative in Iran’s parliament, said the attack took place during a Jewish holiday and alleged the synagogue was destroyed.

“The Zionist regime showed no mercy towards this community during the Jewish holidays and attacked one of our ancient and holy synagogues,” Sameh said. “Unfortunately, during this attack, the synagogue building was completely destroyed, and Torah scrolls remain under the rubble.”

The claims could not be independently verified, and there was no immediate comment from Israeli officials.

The leaders of the Jewish community in Iran are most likely forced to say these things, if not, they are either brainwashed or insane. Whatever happened to the internet blackout anyway? They only let out what they want for propaganda purposes. Iran on the other hand regularly and intentionally targets civillian areas which is a war crime, but no one on the left will ever talk about that.

They Jews in iran have to say what they are told or else. I would not be surprised if we find out that the Iranian regime bombed the shul and staged all this for propaganda, to sway public opinion in Israel against the war.

This incident could have happened. The IDF has perpetrated many friendly fire incidents, and have gotten away with them. For example, only a few weeks after the hostages were seized (following the Oct. 7, 2023 attacks in the Negev), three Israeli male hostages managed to escape. They were in shorts and were shirtless, and were carrying a white flag. They begged the IDF in Hebrew that they had escaped captivity. The trigger happy green IDF troops opened fire anyway, and killed all three. Even their commander stated that they violated the IDF rules of engagement, regarding using deadly force. Yet, they got away with those killings. The point that I’m trying to make, is that it is possible that the Israeli Air Force could have bombed the Tehran Shul, in error.

Currently, Israeli media are reporting that the IDF has taken responsibility for the bombing, so what is everyone saying now.

Anti Jewish Attack approved by the Israeli Supreme Court black robed leaders
That jest being said, there are rumors circulating online that they’re being played by Mossad for some cyber-ops since they knew Iran would allow special Internet access just for this occasion.
