I don’t know the specifics; but just this morning I was tailgated by a heimishe school bus who then went ahead of me and made a right turn at a red light with a large posted sign reading “No turn on red”. The reckless, dangerous driving of the school buses is a serious problem which is not being addressed.

I am in Williamsburg on a regular basis. I can certify that almost every one of these school bus drivers should have their license revoked. Doesn’t matter if its Satmar, UTA, Pupa, Vien, Viznitz, they’re all a bunch inconsiderate VILDEH CHAYAS that should ashamed of themselves the way they drive barreling down the street blaring they’re air horns, endangering the children on board and pedestrians in the street. They drive like rambos barreling down residential areas regularly.

The should just bring in the HIGHWAY PATROL or state police to monitor these school bus drivsrs on the phone driving recklessly blaring their horns and reckless.

I must also say I don’t know the specifics of this case but the hiemeshe bus drivers drive very wild and break every rule in the book, speeding, passing red lights, ignoring the rights of other vehicles , parking overnight on residential streets, etc…

I feel terrible for the family of the child.

May our עם הנבחר never know from such terrible events.

Instead of looking to blame, as the bloggers here are doing, we should recognize that there have been an incredible number of our people killed in motor vehicle accidents. There is a reason that this is happening. It is a Gezeira. I don’t know why this is happening, I am not a Novi. However, each person has a CHIYUV to look into his or her actions or lack thereof and see where we are deficient.

Based on comments and from what I see, it seems safer to have goyish drivers who follow the rules more than Heimshia. Our schools need to rethink this mishigas that we need frum drivers

We need to take away all the speed cameras and 75 percent of traffic lights!!! Stop the stupid calling for more rules and more regulations just because someone died. Hey why don’t we ban cars altogether?

Yes it’s terrible someone was killed. Traffic has to move. Not be stuck going slower than a bicycle. Stop it!!
