Dean DelleChiaie, 35, of Nashua, faces one count of interstate communication of a threat against the president. He was arrested Monday and appeared in federal court in Concord on Tuesday.

According to a criminal complaint, DelleChiaie used his government-issued work computer in late January to conduct internet searches that included “how to get a gun into a federal facility,” previous assassination attempts against the president, the percentage of the U.S. population that wants the president dead, and the phrase “I am going to kill Donald John Trump.”

The U.S. Secret Service interviewed DelleChiaie in February about the searches. He admitted making them and acknowledged owning three firearms, including one kept in a safe at his home, authorities said.

On April 21, DelleChiaie allegedly sent an email from his personal account to the White House’s public email address with the subject line “Contact the President.” The message read in part: “I, Dean DelleChiaie, am going neutralize/kill you — Donald John Trump — because you decided to kill kids — and say that it was War — when in reality — it is terrorism. G-d knows your actions and where you belong.”

Prosecutors said DelleChiaie, who works as a mechanical engineer for the FAA, admitted being upset with the Trump administration.

If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

The case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire. DelleChiaie has been suspended by the FAA.

I don’t understand how anybody would threaten POTUS. Especially a Federal worker on his work computer. TDS must be a real thing.

I am seriously beginning to doubt the likelihood of Donald Trump surviving out his term. And not because of his age…….
