According to a statement released Monday by Julie Menin, at least 11 swastikas were found spray-painted in Highland Park and Forest Park.

Menin, alongside Council members Lynn Schulman and Joann Ariola, said the vandalism came just one week after antisemitic graffiti was reported at two synagogues and two private homes in Queens.

“This is yet another hateful incident meant to intimidate Jewish New Yorkers and divide our city,” the council members said in a joint statement.

The New York City Police Department is investigating the incidents. City officials said the graffiti would be removed by the Parks Department as soon as possible.

The lawmakers also pointed to the City Council’s recently approved five-point action plan aimed at combating antisemitism through education, prevention and accountability measures.

Can’t educate scum. Bring back the JDL. Kahane’s people would know what to do with them. Suffice it to say that they wouldn’t be able to spray paint for quite a while, if ever again.

Highland Park is not in a Jewish neighborhood. It runs along the Brooklyn end of the Interborough, which is a black neighborhood. Someone messed up.
