According to a report by Yedioth Ahronoth, the Israelis were attempting to reserve accommodations at the Hotel Zum Hirschen near the town of Lam, close to Germany’s border with the Czech Republic, when they received a message stating that Jewish guests were not permitted at the property.

The travelers filed complaints with Booking.com and contacted Israeli diplomatic officials in Munich. Following a review of the incident, Booking.com removed the hotel from its platform.

Israeli consular officials said the hotel initially denied responsibility for the message but later acknowledged that it had been sent by one of its employees. Authorities in Bavaria have since been notified and are reviewing the matter to determine whether legal action is warranted.

The incident has drawn condemnation from Israeli officials. Israel’s consul general in Munich compared the episode to discrimination seen in pre-World War II Europe and welcomed the hotel’s removal from the booking platform.

The case has been referred to Bavaria’s commissioner for combating antisemitism for further review. It remains unclear whether formal proceedings will be initiated.

The incident was first reported by Yedioth Ahronoth.

I’m not here to defend this disgusting statement, but if you read carefully, it says one of their employees. Anyone who has children knows that children do impulsive things some say terribly hurtful things as well. Of all the countries that hurt the Jews the Germans are the only ones that have done at least partial Teshuva.

So Netanyahu is responsible for anti-Semitism? What an idiotic comment. Anti-Semitism is based on hatred of Jews, nothing to do with Netanyahu. Do people hate Russians because of Putin?

just losing one online site won’t hurt their income very much. instead, the locals should organize a protest in front of the hotel – let their guests know what happened.

this is a sign of the times and is obviously abhorrent….what Netanyahu has done to Israel’s worldwide reputation solely for his own political purposes is unforgivable…I do not think that Israel will recover and it will remain the world’s pariah
