ALBANY, N.Y. (VINnews) – — Jewish travelers passing through upstate New York during Chol Hamoed Sukkot will have a new option this year, as the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Downtown Albany New York, plans to provide a sukkah for its Jewish guests and offer a special Sukkas rate of $119 per night.

The hotel, a Choice Hotels property owned by Morris Oiring of the Oiring Group, is being transformed into a kosher-friendly destination designed to provide Jewish travelers with comfortable accommodations and services while traveling through the region.
Oiring said providing a sukkah for Jewish guests was one of his priorities as he continues developing the property.
“Providing a sukkah for our Jewish customers was one of my highest priorities,” Oiring said. “As we continue transforming the hotel, we want to incorporate it into our goal of providing kosher and comfortable services for Jewish travelers.”

The hotel’s location in Albany makes it particularly convenient for families traveling between New York City and destinations farther north, including Lake George and Montreal.
