Startups raised nearly $600 million in August alone, based on funding announcements and company statements reviewed by Globes. The actual figure could be higher because some companies, particularly those operating in stealth mode, do not publicly disclose their financing.
Israeli startups raised $7.6 billion during the first half of the year, according to IVC-LeumiTech data cited by Globes. The sector raised $10.7 billion during all of 2025, compared with $9.58 billion in 2024 and $6.9 billion in 2023.
August’s largest funding round came from AI security company Alice, which raised $140 million. Zenity, which develops security technology for AI agents, followed with $125 million.
Other significant August rounds included $60 million each for AI-model cybersecurity company Corma and runtime security platform Oligo. Travel insurance company Faye raised $50 million, while clinical trial simulation company QuantiHealth secured $45 million.
Despite the strong 2026 figures, the funding pace remains below the extraordinary levels seen during Israel’s technology investment boom. Israeli startups raised $15 billion in 2022 and a record $25.6 billion in 2021, according to IVC-LeumiTech data cited by Globes.
