JERUSALEM (VINnews) — IDF soldiers on Friday apprehended a five-member terrorist cell in the Qabatiya area that was planning an attack against Israeli civilians and security forces, the military said.

The counterterrorism operation was guided by Israel Security Agency intelligence. Troops reached the suspected locations and took the suspects into custody in less than 10 minutes, according to the IDF.
The five terrorists were involved in advancing terrorist attacks, the military said. Searches of their homes turned up an M16 rifle and additional military equipment that had been concealed.
The suspects were transferred for further questioning by security forces.
Qabatiya is in northern Samaria. The IDF did not immediately release the names of those arrested or further details about the planned attack

This is exactly the proactive security stance we need. Swift intelligence and decisive action prevent bloodshed. We must move beyond simply reacting to terror. True security comes from dominating the psychological, financial, and military space, making it impossible for these groups to operate. We need to shatter the appeal of terror, removing all incentives for disloyalty. This means offering clear choices and consequences: contribute as a loyal citizen or face expulsion. As I argued, our national security depends on productive integration and clear lines, not endless cycles of containment. We must keep pressing this advantage.
