A next door neighbor woke up to see the flames shooting out of the house and called 911. During the operations, an eyewitness saw one firefighter being carried away from the building.
Make sure u bring out a working smoke & co detector for the summer as important as suntan lotion
With few exceptions, these summer “bungalow” colonies are old, outdated firetraps that are leftover hotels, chicken farms, motels and bungalows from the 1950s and 60s. Its beyond belief that heimeshe yidden still flock to these slums. They should all be burned to the ground and new and modern developments be constructed by those willing to conform to modern building and fire codes. Most are not fit for human habitation, yet every summer tens of thousand of yidden flock to these locations.
Please will everyone stop blaming the “Yidden” for everything. It is beginning to sound like Obama always blaming Bush and the republicans. Let us keep a perspective on this. The Yiddem would stop coming and be safe and save some money and not be pushed into living in a Jewish Slum. One word ..just one word from the Rabbanim and it could all be reversed. Unfortunately they and their enablers and enforcers are so powerful that little girls and boys go there to spend an innocent summer in dangerous buildings and unhealthy conditions- not to mention the adults who trade their safety and health for a Rabbanim sactioned rat trap. If they Hechsered the bungalows are carefully as the do milk and lettuce things would be a lot different. What has everything come to???
as was posted above, smoke and co detectors are important. so are fire extinguishers.
dont overload an outlet. be careful when cooking and use common sense!!!!!!!!
Didn’t the Aladin just burn down a couple of days ago? Who is behind these fires? I hope the fire marshals are investigating these fires.
