The Vatican said in a statement Thursday that both sides accepted the date. It said the meeting would take place in the afternoon.
Pope Francis invited Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to join him for a day of prayer during his recent trip to the Middle East. Both men immediately accepted the offer.
With all due respect, has anyone EVER seen Peres pray?
But with the pope he will . Gevald !
Rachmana Litzlan!
The pope wants this event, hopefully the pope is paying the airfare for Peres. No need for the EY taxpayer to pick up the bill for this detour and frolic.
Do any of these characters believe in the one they’d be praying to?
I think the caption under the photo above is too verbose. Much more laconic one would just say “The one with the yarmulke is a goy.”
Who is the rabbi in the picture with the yom kippur outfit?
As long as no politics are discussed. They shouldn’t be talking during “services”.
Maybe shimon could ask the pope to intervene on Johnathan Pollard’s behalf? I heard that the pope has good earthly connections.
I guess peres will have to borrow the holy father’s yarmika
