MANCHESTEREVENINGNEWS.com (http://bit.ly/1NOrKiM) reports that the survey, conducted by the watchdog group AntiSemitismWatch.com, showed that 77-percent of UK Jewish respondents admitted to witnessing hate crimes over the past year, included among them everything from verbal assault and intimidation to vandalism and bodily assault.
Of those who said they chose not to report hate crimes, 70-percent expressed the view that they felt nothing would come from their efforts.
The report called this viewpoint “especially unfortunate,” since data showed that 54-percent of those who did report hate crimes cited a satisfaction with police response.
In issuing the department’s appeal, Greater Manchester Police assistant chief constable Garry Shewan acknowledged an escalation in anti-Semitic hate crimes both in the region and globally in recent years, while urging “community cohesion” in combating it.
“We can’t take action if we don’t know what is happening,” Shewan said.
whats the point, if they dont wont do anything to do them anyway just like in NYC, the NYPD does not do anything when crimes happen against Jews, remember Crown Heights riots when de bozo’s mentor, Dinkins was in charge?
