Washington – President Donald Trump told Russian officials at the White House that firing FBI Director James Comey relieved “great pressure” the president was facing from an ongoing probe into Russia and the U.S. presidential election, the New York Times reported on Friday, citing a document summarizing the meeting.

“I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Trump said, according to the Times, which cited a document read to it by a U.S. official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”
The Times said the document was based on notes taken from inside the Oval Office. Reuters was not immediately able to verify the accuracy of the Times’ account.
I agree. Comney is a nut job!
And so are most democratics!
Seems certain political persuasions have such a disdain for the intelligence of the public to understand the fact that when one talks, negotiates or otherwise interacts with those who one needs or from those who one wishes to gain advantage, one says whatever will ease the other participants (whether true or not). As if we don’t know that politicians tell one party one thing and another party the opposite as a matter of “realpolitik”. Which is also why such leaks are meant as political sabotage to Trump’s “realpolitik” rather than from any moral consideration or for any search for the truth.
This is denied across the board so the question is…
Who are the morons behind the fake “quotes” and what can be done to eradicate them?
Comments 1-3 give us a range of how those who blindly follow Trump react to reports that could “unsettle their delicate cognitive equilibrium”: #1 attempts to dehumanize those who disagree with him; #2 issues excuses requiring elaborate paragraph-long justifications; and #3 issues denials of reality based upon “truthiness”. Is #3 also advocating violence? What does he mean by “eradicate”? The dictionary definition is “destroy completely; put an end to.
eg. this disease has been eradicated from the world”.
These seem to be necessary elements of Trumplandia politics and government.
