A Palestinian woman and child were hurt in the incident and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
About 20 ultra-Orthodox Jews arrived to celebrate the preparartion of the Jewish holiday of Purim at one of the houses in the neighborhood.
According to Palestinians, the ultra-Orthodox group began harassing them, which led to a confrontation that was dispersed by police with clubs and tear gas.
Why were they celebrating Purim on the tenth of Adar?
what? a few things don’t make sense. It isn’t Purim yet and real Ultra Orthodox Jews don’t harass Arabs. Is this a sick Purim joke from HaAretz to make frum people look bad?
What year was this. According to my calendar, Purim doesn’t begin until the coming Motzei Shabbos.
A proper celebration of Purim – just like the original. If only the article was true…
it says here , & I quote, “According to Palestinians”

#1 , #2 , #3 Welcome to Israel.
“Mishenichnas Adar Marbim B’Simcha” Adar is one big party here.
It says in today’s Chok L’Yisrael in Mishle “tzadik ha rishon b’rebo, u’ba r’ehu vahakro”. To paraphrase “it is really easy to convict on the the basis of the opening testimony, until cross examination”. Just wait and see, Jewish people aren’t prone to randomly attacking Arabs.
