MazelMobile has started a service that sends subscribers a daily text message containing important Jewish dates, wisdom and Jewish information directly to their cell phones.
The company also declared that in line with its commitment to community building, it will give 1 USD per subscriber back to Jewish organizations that resell its services via their affiliate program, and “organizations, synagogues, and charities can sign up for a MazelMobile.com affiliate number, and instantly create their own fund-raising program,” says Mr. Lazarus. “We felt it was time to give the cell phones of the Jewish community a distinctively Jewish identity. At the same time I could give something back to my own community through the mobile Tzedakah program.”
