Dr. Norman Blumenthal, director of Project C.H.A.I. told VIN News that the hotline, with a staff of four professionals, is ready to help parents deal with the current crisis.
“We have already sent a crisis team down to the Boyan Day Camp,” said Dr. Blumenthal. “We are helping everyone there cope with the reality of the situation as we know it.”
The hotline, which can be reached at 917-710-8399 offers guidance to parents and teachers in helping their children and students process the current news in a way that will protect them from misinformation while allowing them to preserve their sense of safety and security.
