JERUSALEM (VINnews) — In a wrenching clip released by Hamas after over 200 days in captivity, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was kidnapped from the Nova party on October 7th, spoke for the first time from his place in captivity and pleaded that more be done for his release. The video appears to have been taken a short time ago, as it mentions that he is in captivity nearly  200 days and describes the coming festival of Pesach.

Video of Hersh Goldberg-Polin

The video employs psychological terror as Goldberg-Polin describes how he had to fight for his life and suffered serious injuries (his left arm was amputated after he was injured by a grenade during the Hamas attack). He attacks the Israeli government for not protecting the people at the Nova party, as well as for failing to rescue the hostages. “While you are sitting and eating your festive meals, we are underground in Gehennom, without food, without sunshine, without the medical treatment I require.”

Goldberg-Polin also addressed his parents and siblings and told them he loved them and missed them.

In response, his parents Jonathan and Rachel also released a video clip of their own in which they asked all the parties involved in negotiations- Qatar, Egypt, the US, Hamas and Israel, to “be brave, lean in, seize this moment and get a deal done to reunite us with our loved ones and end the suffering in the region.”

Hersh’s mother told him that “if you hear us- we love you, stay strong and survive.”

I am done with VIN. Any opinion that doesn’t follow their narrow-minded views is deleted. I am also letting the advertisers know that where they put their ad dollars is really ticking people off.
READ THIS POST QUICK, AS VIN WILL NOT LET IT STAY UP LONG (IF AT ALL).
