Rockland County, Nyack, NY +Jumper Down Bridge+ New York State Troopers on the scene reporting some people traveling on the Tappan Zee Bridge witnessed a withe male park his vehicle on the bridge and take a leap of the northbound lanes of the Tappan Zee Bridge, requesting Fire Department and EMS to respond, diving teams from Rockland Sheriff Marine units and Weschester County responding.
Major traffic delays expected.

Aviation, Rescue Boats and Divers are all picking up at this time with negetive resolts. Traffic getting back to normal condition.
I don’t understand. Why would they stop traffic on the bridge because of a jumper? Its not like someone will run him over after jumped. If anything they should be stopping boat traffic under the bridge.
