Ramapo, NY – A head-on collision between two cars yesterday afternoon sent two people to the hospital.

The accident occurred at New Hempstead Road and Hempstead Road, when Mark Strohli, 36, and his wife, Jessica Strohli, 34, of Tallman were driving on New Hempstead Road when a car coming from the opposite direction crossed the pavement marking and crashed into them. The other car, a 1999 Mitsubishi, was driven by Shlomo Einhorn, 36, of Monsey.
Hillcrest Fire Department and the Spring Hill and Hatzolah ambulances responded.
The Hillcrest Fire Department helped remove Jessica Strohli from the car and Spring Hill Ambulance took her to Good Samaritan Hospital, she had face and hip injuries.
Einhorn was taken to Nyack Hospital by Hatzolah Ambulance with face and leg injuries.
Mark Strohli said he was not injured. None of the injuries were life threatening. They are investigating the accident but did not issue any tickets. [Journalnews]
