    Brooklyn, NY – A three-alarm blaze ripped through a Brooklyn group home for foster kids run by the Jewish Care Association, forcing three teens and a caretaker to scurry to safety and sending four firefighters to the hospital.

    "I saw the first firefighter run in there," Tysean Pope, 19, said of the blaze on Rugby Road in Flatbush. "Within a minute, he was carried out on a stretcher."

    The Engine 281 firefighter was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was in stable condition after having difficulty breathing. Three other Bravest were treated there for minor injuries.

    An official with the Jewish Child Care Association, which runs the home, told the NY Daily News, that none of the occupants were hurt.
