To that end, Department of Sanitation (DSNY) and Department of Transportation (DOT) officials visited CB1’s Transportation Committee meeting last Wednesday, asking for public input on how best to adjust garbage truck routes.
Residents have long complained about noisy, rumbling trucks carting refuse through their neighborhoods to waste transfer stations in Brooklyn.
