Norwich, NY – Teens Arrested and Charged in Synagogue Vandalism

    Norwich, NY – Three teenagers have been charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, in connection with a break-in and damage done earlier this week at the Norwich Jewish Center, 70-76 Broad Street.
    Norwich police said the teens were 13 and 14 years old. Police did not release their names.

    The charges fit the criteria under the Hate Crimes Act of 2000. All three were issued Family Court appearance tickets and released to their parents. Norwich police were assisted by the FBI and state police in their investigation.
