Had he stuck it out here in 1999 and not run away, he would have been pardoned by Clinton, just like his cohorts. Now he will have to spend a lot more time in prison.

For a Tzadik like him to have to go trough such pain, no words can express the pain the community in London feels having to lose him!

Let me share with you a small story that perhaps will prompt the readers to stop judging him and rather pray to Hasham for racamim.

When he was arrested in London by the FBI about a year ago he was jailed for 4 weeks, the first 2 weeks he was in the same cell as a non Jew who every time Reb Avrum Dovid had to daven or was busy with a duver shbikdisha he was happy to switch off the TV.

For the second 2 weeks however he was in a cell with a Yid all be it not frum at all who would not turn of the TV off etc.. however Reb Avrum Dovid didn’t say anything and just went on doing what he did. By the time Reb Avrum Dovid left jail the Yid himself seeing how Reb Avrum Dovid behaves so modestly and erlich started him self to make broces.

When Reb Avrum Dovid left jail he said that maybe for this he had to go to jail for that Yid to start making broces – me keaco yisrol!

Now please say one kippitel tehilem for his zces – I don’t have his mothers name but trust me Hasham knows who we all mean!

Why didn’t he run to hide in Israel or Belgium?

Why did he stay in England if everyone knew his “secret”?

And why would anyone want to turn him in?

Did he “run away”? or did he just move and at the same time avoid the chaos that he was leaving behind? A better job offer, family connections and relationships in london etc.

many of those convicted were not even working for the mosdos at the time and there was a question of how much time had lapsed that those indviduals should maybe not even have been on trial whatsoever. the prosecuter did not care and lumped all employees and exemployees together and did not interview and prosecute each one to receieve a fare trial. the rumors at the time were that the prosecuter was a self hating jew who came from a frum background,

no one knew at the time that clinton would pardon them. the families of the convicted suffered so much as well as the convicted during the time of incarcentation. money was needed to be raised to help these families by their relatives.

i know of people that were convicted and yet they were not even working for the mosod at the times in question. YES something was going on wrong by the mosod but to convict all in one lump sum is a lynching.

could you blame any one for considering other options if they felt they would not receive a fare trial?

stop judging others. what woudl you have done if you knew it was a lynching with no consideration of each persons involvment.
