Now insider is reporting that the governor’s office has completely denied of any plans of Gov. David Paterson to resign, and says “the Times story” will not run tomorrow.
as I always guessed, this story was always a complete fabrication, fed to a media howling for themans blood. I like everyone else was originally quite Anti Paterson, but soon the extreme media hate against the man became to blatant to ignore. Wondering why, I started reading up about him, and quickly came to the conclusion the man is too honest for albany to endure. wake up and smell the coffee people
hashem yishmor
this guy is far from perfect, but don’t forget how he got to office.
But the attacks against him are ridiculous. The Democratic machine is chewing him up alive because he refuses to play be their script. It all started with the Kennedy/Gillibrand thing. now irs the fact that he is telling it how it is reagrding the budget. That has the unions and all the special interests lined up against him. If only the voters could see past all that, he may be just the right guy to shake things up in albany.
What’s the scandal all about?
can someone say already: what is the scandal? is it another spitzer?
The scandal is about wife swapping party’s in his mansion including drugs
I am not saying he gets a free pass against scandal, but absent a real scandal, Patterson is better than Cuomo.
What a non-story. There was going to be a scandal and there wasn’t going to be a scandal. He was going to resign, he wasn’t going to resign. so in effect, nothing happened but they got a story about it anyway.
Call me crazy, but it seems there is something much bigger behind the media’s unrelenting demolition of this guy. I am not so much interested for this story to come out, than I am interested to know who (specifically, which political powers) is behind this smattering. I think that will potentially be a much much bigger story.
It’s amazing that in this information age, the truth hasn’t been dug up yet…
The NYTimes can’t wait to get another Cuome to become Gov.
