Moscow – Up to 35 people have been killed in an explosion at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport according to the airport spokesperson. Some 130 more are said to have been injured in what the Investigative Committee believes to be a terror attack.

58 have been taken to nearby hospitals, 46 of them are reported to be in critical condition. Over 100 more people are receiving medical help in the airport. The dead remain at the airport due to the investigation.
An initial probe indicates the blast was a terrorist attack caused by a suicide bomber. Moscow police have been put on alert over possible terror attacks in the capital. Police are also on alert at Vnukovo airport and Sheremetyevo international airport in Moscow, and in the metro system.
International flights are being redirected to other Moscow area airports. Over 20 emergency teams are already on the spot, about 170 places are reserved in the nearby hospitals for the injured. The first groups of injured passengers have already been taken to the nearby hospitals.
Dmitry Medvedev has held an urgent meeting with the Prosecutor General, the Investigative Committee Chief and the Transportation Minister. He ordered a special regime in all Moscow airports and other transport hubs and also ordered that the Health and Emergency Situations Ministries provide all necessary help to the victimsof the attack.
According to reports the explosion happened at 4:30pm in the luggage claim area in the international arrivals wing of the airport. The investigators say the bomb may have arrived in one of the bags.

Who had the ability to plant so much explosives in the luggage area? Only someone with extensive inside contacts and access to explosives of this extent. I doubt it was the Chechens. But it could have been somebody wanting to take revenge, i.e. for Russia’s recognizing a Palestine perhaps??
It could only have been carried out by people posing as EMPLOYEES with EASY ACCESS to the airport……who do not look like Chechens but rather ordinary Russians, such as former Russians living in a certain middle eastern country…….
