Israel – Nava Boker, wife of Brigadier-General Lior Boker who was killed in the Carmel fire disaster last December while trying to rescue prison guard cadets, filed a complaint Sunday against Rabbi Rafael Bublil accusing him of incitement.

In a letter he wrote to Pardes Hanna’s Rabbi David Tzedakah, Bublil linked Boker’s death to his alleged conduct against haredim as Hadera police chief over 13 years ago.
The two rabbis have a long standing quarrel, and Bublil had previously accused Tzedakah of persecuting his yeshiva students for the past 30 years.
In the letter Rabbi Bublil mentioned a conflict that arose over 13 years ago in Pardes Hanna when a new neighborhood called Neve Rotem was built. A yeshiva was supposed to be built nearby, but the new residents opposed it and both sides protested the issue.
The highlight was a fire that broke out at a Talmud Torah school. The haredim accused their neighbors of setting the school on fire. The police chief at the time, who was head of the Hareda district which includes Pardes Hanna, was Boker.
Bublil addressed these events in his letter saying: “The leftist leaders protested, held rallies on Shabbat, played Brazilian music outside our synagogues. The Meretz leaders declared: ‘We have to push so the haredim will leave Pardes Hanna.’ Hunderds of officers and helicopters were there on Saturdays and on Jewish holidays – all so they can backup the rallies against us.”
The rabbi added: “All this was done under the command of the Hadera police chief who came to live in our neighborhood. In Hanukkah 1997, the leftist leaders entered our Talmud Torah school and set it on fire. Unfortunately you (Rabbi Tzedakah) did nothing to extinguish the fire. On the night of the fire an order was given by the Hadera police chief, who was on location, to arrest yeshiva students who were accused of being associated with the fire! Indictments and blood libels were filed against us.”

I’m not in heaven, but one thing is certain “Yesh dein v’yesh dayin.”
there is a judge and judgement.
This is obscene behavior.
#1 and 2,this is not how we reach out to our fellow jews and hurting an almana is a great avaira.
What is this obsession with “reaching out to fellow Jews.” Read what the chofetz chaim says about apikorsim.
Dragging him into court to defend his comments and making him incur substantial legal expenses is the least they can do to punish these horific comments. The fact that they come from a rav make it even worse. How could he seek to impose such pain on a grieving widow.
As I’ve said in another posting.
Not everything you think must be said, not everything said must be written, not everything written must be published.
What did Bublil (sounds like Bubble) hope to accomplish by opening his mouth!
I don’t agree with #9 but he is dumb for speaking out.
must be my low IQ for not understanding him.
(Reply to #5 and #8 🙂
He didn 217;t send the letter to the widow of the deceased, and I don 217;t think he intended it should get to her. He didn 217;t 220;impose 221; pain on the grieving widow.
And since when are the 2 of you authorities on what is allowed and what is not allowed in such a case?
I think you should consider taking your self-righteousness elsewhere, and leave these decisions to competent Rabbonim who know the letter of the law. I doubt the 2 of you count as such 230;
I don’t know what the incitement is! is somebody pointing out a moral of a story, inciting? that imho is pure freedom of speech with not a speck of incitement. if anything, this lady is inciting by wrongfully accusing him of inciting! hatred (incitement)from her actions (regardless if she’s a widow) imho dwarfes his “incitement”
General reply to all the cultists out there: (#s 1,2,7,10,11,12,15)
If a tragedy chas v’shalom happens in Brooklyn, the reason is that they do not live in Israel. I assume you are ok with that explanation, it fits in very well with your views. Everything in this world happens for a reason.
To All of you out there in cyberspace: There is only One True Judge and I do not believe that any Rabbi has the right to comment on any one person’s behavior, especially if they are now dead. This Rabbi has also to have some consideration for the LIVING!! This I do not see. Let the poor man Rest in Peace.
