Lakewood, NJ – A 24-year-old man suffered serious injuries when he apparently jumped off an overhang outside of a window at a Jewish school here today, police said.

The man, who was a student from outside of the state, jumped more than 20 feet from an overhang at a Jewish school on Joe Parker Road at about 2:30 p.m., according to Detective Capt. Paul Daly, unit commander. Police said there was no foul play involved.
The student suffered broken ankles and a broken pelvis, he said.
The $64,000 question is: “why?”
