New York – Four years after losing the 2009 mayoral race to Michael Bloomberg, Democratic mayoral hopeful Bill Thompson is back, running another “traditional” campaign that many say is suited to his “even-keel” personality.

The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS (http://nydn.us/10FFvLy) reports that Thompson is strategically avoiding the name-calling and finger pointing prevalent among other Democratic hopefuls, and is instead focusing his efforts on piecing together a coalition of African-Americans, Hispanics, and Orthodox Jews.
Political insiders say Thompson has revamped his campaign team by bringing in more experienced members, and that has resulted in him garnering a steady stream of endorsements.
Thompson, himself, says he is a “stronger” candidate and that he has “learned” from his 2009 loss to Bloomberg.
Whatever it is, no more holding our nose and pulling the lever anyhow, as the Askanim in BP suggested last time, that we hold our nose but vote Bloomberg for the benefit ouf the mosdos (their pockets).
We will vote to candidates that cater to the individual and protect our values and customs. No, he doesnt need to eat Gefilta Fish or go on any specific radio show.
