The four-year-old sustained scratches on her arm, leg and lip.
Police Lt. Steve Allaire tells the Asbury Park Press a man kicked the fox away and an officer was forced to shoot at the fox when it tried to attack him and an animal control officer Saturday.
The fox died at the scene and is being tested for rabies.
Doesn’t sound “fair and balanced” to me.
Nebech, sounds like this fox MIGHT have rabies since it was so bold.
I guess now the ASPCA and NAAF ( National Association for the Advancement of Foxes) will hold a rally or something. Seriously B”H the no one was seriously injured.
I.
Where is Pita? They should demonstrate against unfair treatment of animals.
Whenever I see a fox, I take my kids and go in the house. What went wrong here?
Pirkei Avot 5:11
“Wild beasts come to the world for false oaths and the desecration of G-d’s Name.”
Why does the Holy One arouse His children to repent by means of punishment? There are two kinds of medicine, bitter and sweet. When you give a child sweet medicine, he likes it so much that he doesn’t even realize he’s sick. When the medicine is bitter, however, the patient knows he is ill. Unfortunately, sometimes only bitter medicine can awaken the Jewish people to repentance.

My grandmother had twin foxes—a stole around her neck. It was very fashionalble in the 1930s.
No need to test for rabbies. EVERYONE in Lakewood is a rabbi!
