Cranbury, NJ – A New Jersey highway pileup involving 15 or more vehicles including box trucks and a bus has left at least one person dead and several others injured.

The accident occurred Monday night during a mix of rain and snow flurries and below-freezing temperatures on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cranbury, a township just southwest of New York City. The vehicles involved in the crash include several cars, four tractor-trailers, two box trucks and a fully loaded bus.
Southbound lanes of the turnpike have been closed in the area.
State police say many people were injured.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
