MONSEY (VINnews) — The victim of the brutal stabbing attack in Monsey last week has now undergone a third surgery since the attack. This surgery was to put his eye back in its socket.

When the victim woke up for surgery, he requested to call his father.
The victim has already had two other surgeries, which were on his skull.
The investigation into the perpetrators of this heinous crime is ongoing. Ramapo Police are being assisted by detectives from several other agencies in pursuing several leads.
At this point, the Police have not uncovered any evidence indicating a hate crime. The Police have cautioned the public against believing the many rumors circulating social media surrounding the attack. An official statement will be made in due time.
A fundraiser has been started to assist the victim and his family in their time of need.
The victim’s name for Tehilim is Mordechai ben Bracha (Shlesinger).
