But that is not all that has happened.
As many people know, there are voice messages going around of recordings of a now second phone call between Cuomo and some “leaders”. Once again, a few on the call were pre-picked to get the “high honor” of asking the self-appointed King of Albany some questions.
But it didn’t end there. The amount of groveling that was done was absurd. The idea that it was said multiple times that our community supports this megalomaniac is laughable, and Cuomo knows it. That we have the deepest respect for him is just not true. We vote in greater numbers for his challenger, time and time again. And rightfully so. All this much to the chagrin of many of our “leaders”.
The fact that these leaders don’t understand that it takes about 15 seconds for Cuomo’s advisors to bring up the data, block by block, on the voting patterns of our community shows how failed our leadership is. Do we think that the governor is a fool? That he can’t look at voting patterns?
And in this lies the problem. Because we grovel to him, he knows something that we cannot admit to ourselves, but is the heart of the issue. We have zero leadership that is willing to go toe to toe with the governor. When we tell him nonsense about our community that he can verifiably check up to be untrue, it sends him a message that he can continue with these useless and extremely harmful lockdowns.
But… what if…
Our communities got together, and sent hundreds of coach busses filled with orthodox Jews of all ages and types to Albany. Tens and hundreds of thousands. And we march on Albany. And publicly showed the world how you peacefully protest against blatant and actual systemic bigotry.
Our communities got together and called the governors bluff. He wants to shut our Yeshivos, Bais Yaakov, and Day Schools: fine. We mass enrolled ALL our children into public schools. Every. Single. Child. The city and state would go bankrupt. Almost overnight. Because state law demands every child to have a seat. The public-school system doesn’t have the teachers, therapists, remote devices, or structure for this huge influx of our children. I’m pretty sure that instead of our Yeshivos, Bais Yaakov, and Day Schools getting closed, you may actually see vouchers in NY! Because the credit rating for the state would crater. And Cuomo’s wish of being seen as a potential presidential candidate will go up in smoke.
Our communities said in once voice we will not take this abuse anymore. And start really looking into alternative states to live in. I know in American history there has never been large population’s shifts of Jewish communities. Most communities that created and disappeared happened over time. But I am talking of moving everything, lock stock and barrel, to states like Texas, Florida, Arizona, or even Wyoming. States that will leave us alone to practice our religion as we see fit. The Mormons did it the 1830’s when they were persecuted in NY. Maybe it is time we followed, and left NY. Left its high taxes. Left its over-regulation. Left its anti-religious bigotry. And left its leftist agenda.
I know many of these proposals are hard to fathom as real. But they are.
All they need is new leadership. Because what we have now has, and is, failing us.

Calm down. The moving out has begun already, and we need to identify more locations where we can settle and build our communities. However, this is not something that will happen in a year or two. It can happen over a few decades. These trends and waves existed all over America. Check out the large cities that have Jewish communities. Are they in the same location since that city became home to Jews? Probably not.
The thing we need to first is to address the relocation of large businesses. Of course, we cannot move food establishments, but much else can easily be done. Once places of business move, the population will follow. It takes time, but that’s a way to start.
The revenue from businesses is greater than from individuals. Trump saw the writing n the wall, and moved his businesses out of New York State. Infuriated Cuomo. But it was deserved. Rabosai. Start with relocating whatever businesses we can. That should start now.
NYS will not only survive and except and welcome every single Frum kids in public schools but it will be the best investment for the people of NY (Including hard working frum NY yiden)
$30.000 per child (NYS can issue bonds) educating our children will pay back in 4-5 years. $30.000 x 12 years = $360.000 Avg pay to a uneducated Kolel family Sct8, Foodstamp, Medicaiad etc. =100.000+/year or 30% on NYS investment. EDUCATION is the best investment.
Yes well written. Where was everyone in the summer when lost camps? I said it then, they need to get their game (legal , trump etc..) because the second there is another wave schools will close? We all could of and should of saw this coming.

First of all if everyone registers to public school they have to accomadate everyone immediately. You register in May and the city will go crazy trying to find schools for 100 thousand kids. They will pay you to keep them In yeshivas. We need to vote out Nadler and all the liberals. We can do it if we vote.

My late parents survived Hitler YMS, I was raised in the golus, my kids B’H are in EY.
I may never get there because of my poor health, but my legacy, my children are in the only place that counts Eretz Yisroel. Yes there are problems there no doubt, but its our place and in time it will only get better.

I just see this threat to enroll students in public school as being a poorly conceived idea. First, it means if you then go revert back to Yeshiva you will not have bussing, lunch, etc paid for by the State as the kids enrolled in public school. Second, the State probably not be able to handle everyone on the first day of school, so they will just send some notice that for kids with lack of space they are delaying the school year until arrangements are finalized. Third, now the kids that are enrolled will have to show up or they will be truants. You see where this is going… Just will not work.
As to moving to another State… This is just not thought out at all. Not even going to address this as it is beyond ridiculous.

I agree that we need better leadership with people who understand exactly who Coumo and DeBLasio are. I agree that protests are important, but Idon’t think it serves the purpose to send buses of people to Albany, we should do it in our own neighborhoods. Although enrolling our kids in public school makes sense in theory, almost every frum parent would be scared to send their kids to public school even for a day.
I do think that we are too entrenched in NY. Businesses are fleeing NY, non-Jews are fleeing NY, but Jews always set down too strong roots where we live and it becomes too hard to uproot everything. But there should be pioneers setting up communities in other states slowly. There are such up and coming communitites already and they should be taken seriously.

As parents of children in Yeshivos, our current leadership has failed us as parents.
Power and control, even in the frum community bus based much on government money funded by the state and city to the Yeshivos, and in turn, our so called frum leadership will now down and support the Yeshiva leadership, who will do anything to get another dollar, even when it’s against the wishes of the parents, who are against forced testing and against Immunizations.
Parents can forget about our Askinim, and Rabbonim, siding with the parents against the Yeshivos who now down to Coumo’s money. We don’t have anyone left today who has the strength to say ‘Umordechai Loy Yichere Velloy Yishtachaveh’ to the Blood Money which Coumo made by killing Jewish Seniors in our Nursing Homes.
If we have any real leadership who don’t ‘worship Coumo’s Money’???? Then why isn’t anyone in our leadership standing up against Coumo to refuse his Blood Money??? And why are they accepting his ultimatum of forced testing in Yeshivos ‘or else’s no blood money for the Yeshivos????

We as Parents can open up New Yeshivos.

Wit Trump’s Second Term, Trump will give each parent up to $10,000 Tuition Credit Voucher for the Yeshivos of our choice.
Whoever opens new Yeshivos now will get rich with $10,000 Federal grant per child.
We don’t need the current Yeshivos, ‘forced testing’ who sell out us out, the parents, for Coumo’s ‘Nezid Adashim’ small change Blood Money.
Nor do we need to follow our current leadership who lead us, the parents, like sheep to the slaughter, to force us in to ‘forced testing’ nor to force us to do ineffective and uproven immunizations.
