Shlomo Rottenberg, a student at the Shaarei Torah- Biale yeshiva in Jerusalem, was  prayers at Meron and other tombs of righteous people when he was killed in a tragic collision between his car and a truck travelling in the opposite direction. Rottenberg was declared dead at the scene.

Shlomo studied at the Skver Talmud Torah and at the yeshiva ketana Chayei Moshe in Jerusalem before pursuing his studies at the Shaarei Torah yeshiva in Shmuel Hanavi street, Jerusalem. One of his friends said that “Shlomo was extremely talented by any standard and sat and learnt at all times. He had vast knowledge on many subjects and was exceedingly G-dfearing and had deep faith. He had a warm heart and gave of himself to others and never hurt or shouted at any other person, always maintaining the utmost respect for others.”

Shlomo was very attached to the Biale rebbe and was always one of the leaders of the group who would be close to the rebbe at every event and tish.

Very scary. It’s quite obvious that this whole connection of the Zohar and Miron and Lag Bo’omer, to the Taaneh Reb Shimon Bar Yocai, might be unreal and disrespectful to the Taaneh Reb Shimon Bar Yochai.
