Yet the White House Press Secretary completely failed to mention key details about the attack.
Psaki omitted the fact that the hostage-taker is a Muslim Jihadist terrorist. She also failed to mention that the hostages were Jewish, and that the suspect targeted a reform synagogue.
This was her egregious statement on Twitter:
“POTUS has been briefed about the developing hostage situation in the Dallas area. He will continue to receive updates from his senior team as the situation develops. Senior members of the national security team are also in touch with federal law enforcement leadership.”
In response, she is being slammed on social media for her “oversights.”
You couldn’t mention that it is taking place in a synagogue? https://t.co/9Bi69R1Whl

If it were a proud boy they’d sing a different tune. So very sad
This is the democratic party way, like the obamanation dismissing the terrorist attack on the kosher mart as some random attack on a deli.
As someone already wrote if it were a white suprematist you can be sure they would have mentioned it and connect it to January 6 and PRESIDENT Trump
No surprise here. The Biden White House never discusses facts.

In another thread commenters are loudly proclaiming that the synagogue isn’t a synagogue the rabbi isn’t a rabbi and the congregation is probably mostly non Jews.
This is entirely hypocritical political hackery.
I recall that when the synagogue in Pittsburgh was shot up, many people here neglected to say those killed were Jewish. So I suppose there is a lot of that going around.
I note that VIN’s lead story at the moment does not specifically say the criminal was a Muslim. Further, the discussion by the readers here seems to center on the question of if those held hostage were the right sort of person to be called a Jew.
Please remember that when a right-wing extremist attacked the synagogue in Pittsburgh there was a long discussion here about if those killed were really Jews. At first, Israeli officials refused to call the building a synagogue.
I don’t know what you want from her. She just put out a message that the President is in the loop of things, not about the details of the case. There’s plenty wrong with her that we don’t need to get excited about the nonsensical stuff…
