B’Chadrei reported that police from the Lev Habira station in central Jerusalem came to his house Monday night and arrested him. He is currently being interrogated by police.
The rabbi is a well known figure in the committee who has been interrogated in the past by police regarding the committee’s actions.
Recently he was in contect with members of the Eda Chareidis regarding the demonstrations in Geula against cellular phone stores. A few weeks ago, senior rabbis in the Eda Chareidis came to an agreement with one of the owners of stores suffering from harassment but the committee member who was involved in negotiations expressed his opposition to the agreement.
to force some one to buy a hechsher is unethical especially when not buying one will entail physical violence and damage.
He is no Rabbi, He is just an extortionist.
Great.
Step 1) terror
Step 2) arrest them & don’t let him out till the terror stops.
Step 3) once terror stops then let him out
step 4) If the terror restarts arrest him again, till the terror stops,
Repeat till he understand Israel is not Afghanistan
Throw these people in jail and cut off their stipends and entitlements, They’re ignorant fundamentalists, and it’s the only language they understand
Until more rabbonim come out openly against this extortion and corruption I’m not giving tzedaka to charedi organizations
He is free and back infront of the store
If there are already so many mafias in existence why cant he have one too? Isnt it hypocritical to call out just this one lone mafia and ignore the rest? Like Amnesty calling out Israel on human rights and ignoring China’s record.
