TEL AVIV (VINnews) — After an extensive manhunt that lasted hours, Israeli forces shot and killed a terrorist that perpetrated a deadly shooting in Tel Aviv on Thursday.

The shooting attack took place on Tel Aviv’s central Dizengoff Street.
Two people were killed in the shooting, with another ten wounded. At least four of the wounded were in serious condition.
Following the shooting, Israeli forces led a massive manhunt that saw soldiers go from door to door to locate the terrorist.
At approximately 6:00 AM (Israel time), the terrorist was located in Jaffa, and was shot dead during a shootout with Yamam police counter-terrorism unit and the Shin Bet internal security service.
According to the Shin Bet, the terrorist was a resident of the Jenin district of the northern West Bank.

The terrro attack took place in a crowded pub on Thursday evening.
A Tel Aviv resident, named Sam, was at a nearby restaurant when the shooting started.
“We were sitting at a restaurant on Dizengoff and suddenly there was a huge racket and a wave of people as everyone started running. Tables were falling and we got swept up in it and ran,” he said. “No one knew what was going on.”
“As we walked along Dizengoff all we could see at all the bars were fallen tables and broken glass.”
“People just took off running,” says Daniel Rubenstein, 38, a tour guide who heard shots “ten meters behind me” and ran.
