In another terror incident which occurred Sunday evening, a Palestinian customs officer tried to enter the community of Vered Yericho and perpetrate a terror attack. The officer arrived in a stolen Palestinian police car but the guard at the entrance to the community did not let him enter.
After he had left the community, the officer shot an entire cartridge in the air and a further number of bullets as he drove away from the community. After he was arrested by Palestinian security officials, the officer admitted that he had intended to perform a terror attack on the community.
