Rebbetzin Lau (53) was hospitalized in serious condition at the Beilinson hospital in Petach Tikva after she was flown home from the vacation in a special flight which included an intensive care team treating her en route to the hospital, where she underwent a catheterization. The Rebbetzin had felt unwell during the vacation and suffered the stroke on Friday.

Rabbi Lau asked the public to “tear the gates of Heaven” and request a complete recovery for his wife.

On Sunday morning the Rebbetzin underwent another complex operation. Doctors said that she was not in immediate life-threatening danger but was still in serious condition.
