The man, who identifies himself as Geoffrey Davis, says he is a friend of Yossi’s. In his message he expresses his disgust at the violent attack, and calls for the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
Davis previously served as District Leader in Crown Heights.
In his video, Davis dismissed the notion that the reason he’s speaking out is because the victim was Jewish, saying that he equally condemns violence against any group.
“This city is going backwards,” Davis said.
Davis also said he has a children’s book addressing hate, which is intended to mending the relationship between the black community and the Jewish community.
“I’m sick and tired of having to do this…I’m calling on the arrest and conviction of these individuals, for the 71st precinct to get involved, find these individuals,” Davis continued.
“This cannot be tolerated under any degree.”

Jeffrey Davis for Mayor!
Jeffrey is a good man. He speaks words of truth from the heart.
The Rebbe would talk to and guide the Davis brothers.
They would often be playing in their front yard as the Rebbe would walk past, going between his home and 770.
His brother was murdered INSIDE city hall that’s former district leader Davis
