WATCH: Critically Injured Man In Elad Terror Attack Returns To His Family

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Three months ago, 38-year-old Shai Ben-Shlomo was critically injured in a terror attack which occured in the park in Elad where he was walking with his children. Ben-Shlomo was attacked by the terrorists, who caused him significant head injuries. He was rushed to the Beilinson hospital in Petach Tikva where he was sedated and aspirated and underwent several operations. After a week and a half coma, Ben-Shlomo regained consciousness and communicated with his family. Later he underwent a lengthy rehabilitation at Tel Hashomer hospital.

This week, Ben-Shlomo, who is back on his feet B’H, was able to reunite with his family. In an emotional scene captured on video, family members and Elad residents celebrated with Ben-Shlomo on his return. Ben-Shlomo was strong enough to hold his three-year-old son, who had prayed daily for his recovery.

During the attack, which occurred on Israel’s independence day, three people were murdered, two residents of Elad and one from Lod who had unwittingly brought the terrorists to Elad.
