A lot of people are upset about the loss ( me included) and were really hopeful that he would be elected and things would change in New York.
But even this loss is still a win in some regard.
In a state where democrats usually win handily and without much effort this one was different. It was close (only 5 points) and the democrats had to use money and star power to push Hochul Through
Hopefully those in power will see the writing on the wall and realize that 2.7 million New Yorkers are fed up with the way the state is going and moderate their policies.
I put the blame for this loss and the other losses at the feet of Donald Trump. Yes, I am a Trump supporter and I too think there was something very fishy with Biden’s win. However sometimes you have to bow your head and say let’s move on. The only thing Trump gained by still saying the election was stolen, 2 years later, is more enemies on the left and more and more people on the right wishing he will just go away. Zelden told her during the debate “why are you bringing up Trump?” But Hochal knew exactly what she was doing. The words stolen election and January 6 are 4 words that resonate with liberals. Trump has already disenfranchised many of his supporters and if gets ugly and dirty with republicans who want to move on he’ll lose even more support going into the primaries and the 2024 election.
Message to all of us Frum Yiiden in NY:
It is crazy to think that we Frum Yidden can make order in Albany and throw out all progressive low life politicians.
We are Yidden in Golus and it was crazy the campaign how it was done in our Frum communities for Zeldin.
Btw, I voted for Zeldin and still believe that we behaved like nut cases campaigning.
Silver lining. Zeldin brought us Lawler.

He is the true loser of the ny elections of 2022.
